WHERE IS Rs 65 CRORES?

French news portal reported to have exposed a bribe deal of 65 crores rupees in connection with the Rafael plane buying. Based on the French report Indian news papers have published all details about the transaction. Who paid the money, whom was it paid, what is the amount, which is the bank involved, what was the purpose of the payment and all such relevant details have been reported by Indian media. Though good amount of time has elapsed, so far no media has reported about anyone questioned in this connection. Further to these, the media has also reported that no concerned agencies have responded in this matter.

When a petty theft is committed by a poor hungry man, it takes no time to arrest the 'offender', charge the case and produce the culprit in the court. Here in this case, the money involved is quite huge, the people involved are well placed, the reputation at stake for the country is invaluable. In spite of this no one is bothered to find the truth behind this.

And such acts compel us to believe that there is something wrong in our democracy, equality in justice, prevention of corruption and so on. Beyond all these, no one rather the concerned authorities are making effort to uphold the prestige of our country.
