COMPARISON BETWEEN INDIA AND NORDIC COUNTRIES IN SAFETY OF WOMEN
According to the Women. Peace and Security Index by Georgetown University and the Peace Research Institute Oslo, Denmark is ranked as the safest country for women in the world. Nordic countries like Norway , Iceland, Sweden and Finland closely follow in the global list. Singapore is found to have one of the urban safest environment globally. Ranking of top countries among the total surveyed countries with a number of 181. 1 Denmark, 2 Iceland, 3 Norway, 4 Sweden, 5 Finland, 6 Luxembourg, 7 Belgium, 8 Netherlands, 9 Austria, 9 New Zealand. Our Motherland India ranks 128 out of 177 countries. India In 2025 alone there is a sharp surge reported in cyber crimes targetting women.
