WORD THAT WORTH


"I have already told you that I am he," Jesus said. "If, then, you are looking for me, let these others go."
(John 18:8)

With these words, Lord Jesus Christ confirmed to the Father that what He has said become true. He assured the Father, "Father, I have not lost even one of those you gave me." By doing so the Supreme Sacrifice was fully confined to the Supreme One.

Many  years ago, James Rogers of Alabama Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church told the story of Annie Clayton of San Jose, California. As a child, she and her sister Banie took a long walk one Saturday morning to collect some scraps of wood as fuel for heating their families home. As they returned, Vanie collapsed from the lingering effects of cholera and was unable to proceed.
