SUCCESS MAY TOUCH YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE YOUR EGO



Person with ego is hated by all. Friends would be avoiding them. Success would be evading them. According to Bhagavad Gita 3:27 "Ego misleads a human to think he/she is supremo." Bhagavad Gita also suggests how to escape from the mortal existence when you, "Renounce your egoism  and develop a universal vision of oneness and unity in which you will not hold on to any limited belief, judgement or perception."

 The Bible too says about egoism. "It is easier for the camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than the wealthy to enter into the kingdom of heaven." Here the wealth indicates ego as the real possession of man is the Holy Spirit and if it is replaced with the self or the ego, it would be absolutely  impossible for him to attain the kingdom of God.

Ego is, therefore, the most destructive in this world and that also prevents the world to come. In our day to day life we get oppertunity to understand the size of our ego when confront with a serious problem which we cannot overcome. Then we come to know how small we are when comparing with the problem. On the other hand when we are filled with the Supreme Spirit, we can understand every problem in it's minute details and get the solution for it. Hence ego and success are always in confrontation.
