WHY UN IS NOT ACTIVE IN PREVENTING TERRORISM CREATED BY MEMBER COUNTRIES



According to various indigenous and international media reports, on 23 April 2025 about 25 innocent tourists were killed by Pakistani terrorist attack. Kashmir, one of the finest tourist destinations of the world was terribly destroyed by Pakistan by continuous inhuman attacks in that region. Countless number of people including women and children have lost lives in their heinous attacks. The poor people of Kashmir who were very much depending on tourism for their day to day life have suffered a lot due to these terrorist attacks. The people of India and the government together organised their best to establish peace in the region. This has helped fairly well and tourist inflow have increased to some extent. This has helped the people to earn something and started to eat well. Pakistan could not afford to see this and they let loose the hardcore terrorists again to Kashmir to spoil peace. And they have caused the killing of large numbers of innocent human beings. India can stop this terrorist activities for ever. But that may end up in the death of huge amount of people on both sides.

Here comes the question as to why UN is not interfering in the matter to establish peace in the whole region. UN, through its security council is obligated to address terrorism among its member countries. There are a number of countries like Pakistan promoting terrorism and causing the death of thousands of innocent people across the world. Since UN has enough law to apply to eradicate terrorism from all its member countries, they may act properly to ensure the safety and security of innocent people. Surprisingly, instead of taking action against the terrorist country and give them due warning UN has given them $700 Crores. Can UN ensure that this money is fully utilised for the purpose it is given. If they are using this money to procure destructive weapons to be used against India, the peace loving countries of the world may see this huge sum a gift to hardcore terrorists.
