If we try to find a single reason for the dispute, it can be straight away said that the Nuclear capabilities of Iran is the one that irritated US so much. At present Iran is not believed to have possessing any nuclear weapon. Since early 2000 Iran's Uranium enrichment capabilities have raised concern over many countries including US. According to the past intelligence assessment, Tehran has the potential capabilities to produce nuclear weapons about a dozen in numbers.soon, but they have withdrawn from the efforts. However the US and some other countries believe that they can make the nuclear weapons in a short span of time. Iran's ballistic missiles and delivery capabilities also irritate many. The conflict between the two countries is a combination of longstanding historical grievances, regional ambitions and dispute over military strategy.
