WHAT MAY BE THE IMMEDIATE FUTURE OF AFGHANISTAN


There are many forecasts about what would be the future of Afghanistan. At present some players are actively involved in the Afghan game and some others are watching from a safe distance. China and Pakistan are the two countries directly involved in the Afghan affairs. India, US, Russia, Turkey and Iran are closely watching developments there. China may be playing only a diplomatic game as they cannot afford to play with money. Chinese economy is reported to be not in a good shape. A good number of major companies are on the verge of pulling down the shutters. If the reports are correct some banks too may bring down operations soon.

Pakistan is only interested to muster the terrorist power in Kashmir against India. India can counter it very well. It would be better for India to wait until things surface with more clarity.
