WHAT IS SUCCESS

Success is a relative term. Success has different levels for different people. It is the outcome of a set target. The target may be self marked or marked by someone else. The success of one can be failure for the other. While the success may produce joy for one, it may create sorrow for someone else. Success in a war is marking destruction all over and killing people as many of the opponents. Success of a doctor is saving as many people as possible. All are called success!

Let us see how some successful people react on this.

"It is not the strongest species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the most responsive to change."
Charles Darwin

"A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new."
Albert Einstein

"Success is a lousy teacher. It seduces smart people into thinking they can't lose."
Bill Gates

"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."
Mahatma Gandhi

"Oppertunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work "
Thomas Edison

"Efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction."
JFK

We all have heard about Robert the Bruce who learned from spider to become successful. Robert the Bruce saw himself reflected in the spider's struggle. After watching the spider finally succeed, Robert found the inspiration to return and fight the English despite overwhelming odds. He was victorious against the King of England in the battle of Bannockburn in 1314.

Whenever we set our target for success, we must think what it will give us as well as others.
