CHURCH WITHOUT CHRIST

What is happening in Syro Malabar Church is beyond imagination. It has become a Church without Christ. On the one side the Theological Leadership has become like army commandants and the so called believers community have become like armed revolutionists. In fact both do not know what they want to achieve. If it is aimed at any particular observation, one should very well know that Lord Jesus Christ has never taught even a prayer to the common man. The Lord said, "... when you pray, enter into your room, and having shut the door, pray to your Father in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret will repay you." (Mathew 6:6) When this is the way the Lord asked us to pray, the priesthood have got printed ship loads of prayers and circulated among the innocent faithful people. All the observances of today too have nothing to do with Jesus. The entire teaching of our Lord can be brought to a nutshell: "You shall love the Lord your God from all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the greatest and first commandment. But the second is similar to it: 'You shall love your neighbour as yourself.'  On these two commandments the entire law depends and also the prophets." (Mathew 22:37 to 40) In fact the entire Christianity is comprised in these words. No custom or decorum stand beyond this.

We had the opportunity to see another Christian communities fighting each other including to the extent of the Apex Court of the country with no avail. Since economic matters are hidden behind every dispute, an amicable settlement cannot be in the vicinity. We too are gradually moving on the same path. Rift in the Syro Malabar Church is imminent. Unfortunately no senior priesthood is coming ahead to resolve the issue amicably. All those who are indulging in the fight, that too for an imaginary reason, may read this once before entering into the Holy Mass.
"Therefore, of you offer the gift at the Altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there, before the Altar,  and go first to be reconciled to your brother, and then you may approach and offer your gift." (Mathew 5:23 & 24)

Across the table along with a cup of tea and with the love of Jesus in you, both of you can sort out the issue in a few minutes time. Please try to do it.

May the blessings of Jesus Christ be with you all!
