WE INDIANS 'KNOW' ALL ABOUT GOD

Generally all humans across the world boast that they know all about God. Irrespective of the religious faith man of all religions argue that their God is the original or the right One. Though no one knows about one's own body they say they know all about the Creator of all human and all other life forms and nonliving things and as many number of the whole unknown universe. Human brain is said to have the maximum storage capacity of about 300 years of video cassette recordings. If we say we know the God well we are just limiting the God within our brain capacity.

Religiously most apt definition of God is Thathwamasi. Meaning of this is "You are that" or "That is you."' This term originated from Chandogya Upanishad. It appears in a dialogue between Uddalaka and his son Svetaketu. This term has however scientific relevance it seems. As per Big Bang theory the universe with all those contains came into existence from the explosion of a tiny particle. That tiny particle contained the Sun, Moon, Star and all the gigantic bodies of the universe. In order to explode the tiny particle some energy was required. And that energy came into the tiny particle and made the greatest ever explosion bringing time, space and matters into being. Science is, however, silent about the creator of the tiny particle as well as source of the energy that caused the explosion.

Here comes the reference of Jesus Christ in the fundamental writing of Hinduism. The book, Rig Veda, was written between 1500 - 1000 BCE. The description of Prajapati's sacrifice in the Vedas is strikingly resembles with the Crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ in the Bible. Further to this His resurrection on the third day was specifically mentioned. All the sufferings, Crucifixion and subsequent resurrection by Prajapati was for the forgiveness of sins of every human ever born on earth. Prajapati according to the Vedas denotes Brahma. Since this was written before the birth of Christ and the writing of Bible; both Old Testament and New Testament, it cannot be said to have copied down.
