CAN WE SWEEP OUT NARCOTICS FROM INDIA?

Youth of India is now vulnerable to narcotics, both in using as well as trading. It is spreading fast in schools and colleges. All concerned departments of the Central and State governments must sit together with various sections of the society including educationalists, sociologists, religious leaders etc to find ways and means to ward off this evil from the whole country. We must systematically frame the methods to find the last end of the thread. Once one end of it is in hand, the other end is certainly reachable, howsoever it may be delayed. We have such intelligent people available in all departments. One of the most important thing to take care is that if any political party is involved in this distructive method of money making such parties should be straight away banned for ever. Similarly any government officials are found to have involvement in this trade should be dismissed forthwith. All those connected with flight cargo, passenger flights and all those in and around airports should be severely dealt with, if their involvement is found in any manner. Jails all over the country should be kept under strict vigil.

Another way to find the distribution network is to appoint unemployed youth temporarily as informers. They should be handsomely paid for every detection and their identity should not be revealed anywhere. Alongwith breaking all chains, it should be ensured that the youth who are trapped into this trade by chance are rehabilitated. Economically weak petty distributors should be rehabilitated properly. Once the emperors on the other ends located, they should be left to the judiciary. We may also try to find as many addicts as possible and they should be entrusted to medical assistance to bring them back to normal state.
