POLITICAL PARTIES IN INDIA MAY GO FOR SELF ASSESSMENT

While over sixty countries in the world are contented with a two party political system, we Indians have hundreds of parties, almost all with groups and sub-groups. Fundamentally political parties are created as a platform for the service of the people.  Atleast once in a year each party may find time to evaluate their performance during the past one year. They may make an abstract of what have been received from the people and what they have given to the people.  They may present this to the people every year.

Since this is their own assessment, it is for them to decide whether they should continue with the service of the people or not. There are many parties proved to be utter failures in every field in serving the people. Still they try to lure the people with many impossibles. And the helpless people are unable to come out in the open and say no to these parties. At least a good number of political parties in India try to bring their earnings from the people than to provide them any services. That is why the parties represent the poor of the country have assets worth trillions of rupees and still they keep squeezing the people.
