IS HE A STRANGE ONE!



A large auditorium. A fairly good gathering too. The occasion was world religious conference. A ten days long one. Many orators, theologians and philosophers representing different religions across the world had their talks. And it was the final day afternoon. Suddenly a middle aged, tall, healthy, handsome and a bearded one in spotless white long attire came to the stage. One of the organisers quickly went to him and asked his identity. He replied that when he speak his identity would be revealed.

He spoke: "You all have heard about me, but in different names. You have seen me in different attire. I spoke to you in different languages. I came to you in different times. Every time I told you the same. I told you the simplest thing you can easily adhere to. Love your fellow beings. But this is the one thing that you are reluctant to follow. You find joy from giving trouble to others. If someone gives you little trouble you cannot afford it. But the most satisfying thing for you is to give suffering for others. When you help others someone else will help you life long. And when you hurt someone, others will continuously hurt you. It is not your intelligence, health, family background or higher education that provides you happiness and peace. You love all those who come to you. Whenever a hungry one comes to you try to give such ones enough food. You will never be hungry. Try to help the poor in trouble God's protection shall be with you always. If these little things you do within your available resources, the Supreme One shall provide you very large resources throughout your life. Love others. That makes everything."

He got down from the stage and went out of the auditorium.
