The film Fresh Guacamole was nominated for best Animated Short Film at the 85th Academy Awards with a length of 1 minute and 40 seconds. This is the shortest film ever nominated for Oscar. The 2012 American film was written and directed by PES (Adam Pesapa)

Many  years ago, James Rogers of Alabama Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church told the story of Annie Clayton of San Jose, California. As a child, she and her sister Banie took a long walk one Saturday morning to collect some scraps of wood as fuel for heating their families home. As they returned, Vanie collapsed from the lingering effects of cholera and was unable to proceed.
