THROW AWAY POLITICS FROM SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The ongoing discussions on the interference of the governor on political overflow in educational institutions bring us another opportunity to think on this matter once again seriously. We have been haphazardly talking on this for quite sometime. We couldn't take any decision so far. Politics have excessively laying hands in the day to day life of every Malayali much more than people of other states of our country. Instead of people dictating terms on politics, we have been bowing our heads to politics. Until we free ourselves from the filthy political atmosphere prevailing in our state which is destroying peace and harmony in our society, we cannot do anything good for our society.

We must do our best with the help of the media and judiciary to free all our educational institutions from all political activities. Let the children grow in a peaceful atmosphere and concentrate in their studies. They should not be taught to kill their fellow beings. If political learning is must for anyone let there be a political university exclusively for teaching politics. But it should be strictly confined only to those colleges.

Let us think and work for a new generation free from politics in our state and then in our country. This excessive politics is the chief cause of corruption in our country. Development of our country is terribly affected by this stinking politics. With our available resources and manpower we should have reached on top of the world in GDP. Our politics supported by the destructive elements of the society are always looking for earing through back doors only.

Todays children should not get trapped by politics. Let them have their own ideology and their own independent personality.
