FIND AN END TO POLITICS IN SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

Despite possessing immense natural resources and large manpower to exploit we Indians prefer to be called a poor country. We make no attempt to become the richest country in the world. We still maintain about one fourth of our population below poverty line in international standard. Our successive rulers find no shame in this. Corruption is rampant in our country. Not even a feeble attempt is made to eradicate this cancerous vice from our society. If a government earnestly wishes we can make this country corruption free within thirty days. But who is there to wish!

Now, if India really want to target  economic and social development of international level, our prime attempt should be to eradicate politics from schools and colleges. If anyone is adamant to learn politics both theoretically and practically let there be  few political universities. All there practical experiments should be strictly confined within their college campus. Under no circumstances they should be allowed in public places or other educational institutions. If the government can ensure this we can find a quantum leap in the economic and social front in a short period of time.

Let us learn the truth  that by learning political vandalism in schools and colleges we could not achieve anything till this moment other than causing all sorts of destructions to man and materials. We must find and end to this destructive trend. According to media reports children of some schools and colleges in India are made to work as sales agents for the sale of narcotics like ganja and other drugs in the same institution. In fact, spread of narcotics, sexual assaults, violence in the society etc are the after effects of political activities in educational institutions. The most dangerous thing is that whatever the wrongs these 'political children' commit, there are well placed politicians to save them.  If we do not want to drive this country to utter poverty and total lawlessness we may not continue with this trend. If our future generations should lead a comfortable and peaceful life we may strictly enforce law to ban all sorts of political activities in schools and colleges. In order to achieve this all parents together should lead this campaign with the total support of teachers and religious leaders. Let us all wait for a Happy Tomorrow!
