RELIGION AND POLITICS

(Traditional Indian farm house)

While we Indians have enough resources and adequate manpower to exploit those and lead a comfortable life matching with the advanced countries, we prefer to remain as an underdeveloped country. There are three basic reasons for this state. One is that we never wanted to give education, at least upto the level of graduation to all people. The other is that we have given unwanted priorities to political parties and allowed those to interfere in every aspect of life. The third is equally important for the hapless situation of our country today in different fields. We have unnecessarily invoked religion in day to day affairs of social, educational, political, economic and administrative matters of the country. I don't say any particular religion but almost all religions have played their roles in the disintegration of social and political establishments of the country.

If we can strictly adopt the theory of 'one man one God',  we can easily get out of the religious shackles. No any particular religion is superior than the other in any way. All teach from darkness about the unseen and unheard God. Let us understand the fact that if we can concentrate on the contentment, happiness and peace of mankind that would be the worthiest worship of God.

I would, therefore, request to the people as a whole, to focus our attention towards the development of the country to the level of advanced countries ignoring religion and political parties. Our unemployment can be brought to zero, we all Indians can have fairly good houses and cars in a short period of time. No God will become angry to us too.
