WHAT IS WRONG WITH INDIANS IN INDIA
We Indians can be broadly categoriesed into two standards. One is Indians in India and the other is Indians in other countries. While the latter is minutely watching the country and are able to detect all wrongs taking place and can suggest corrective measures to improve the country to the international level, the former are not bothered about any thing. They will however say good about a political party and bad about all other parties. Generally these people do not know anything about the party other than it's name and a few leaders of it. There are instances of parties failed in many fields but these followers are not at all concerned about such failures.
On the other hand, those in other countries are terribly upset over the present conditions of our beloved country. As per available records, India's GDP per capita nominal- 2023 is 139 and GDP per capita PPP is 127. This shows how much our people has grown up economically. According to a report by Global Finance on Poorest Countries in the World 2023 among the list of 97 countries South Sudan is the 1st in the list and India is 64. This may not be a prestigious ranking for our country in the eyes of NRIs. In the Global Hunger Index 2022 India ranks 107 out of 121 countries. These Index and Ranking are not that sweet for educated Indians but a good number of Indians do not know these compartive status of our country.
Our successive governments, it is suspected, ensured for the past seven decades to maintain a large population of illiterates. These Indians never try to find faults with any governments. They find gods in their beloved party leaders and devil's in the opposition party leaders. Their political knowledge is confined to these much and and our successive rulers ensure that they remain at the very same place. Hence, until we have a literate population we cannot attain a truly democratic India and rectify the faults in our administrative and development oriented establishment. Corruption around us now may be beyond our imagination! Let us all look for United and prosperous India!
