WE MAY HAVE TO EAT POLITICS, IF WE CONTINUE LIKE THIS

For 77 years India is an independent country but most of the Indians are yet to attain freedom. Because most of us do not have our self. We do not think and act independently, but think and act the outdated meanless and aimless politics only.  Our politicians, for quite sometime, loudly announce the great achievements of our country. Now we may see here what the people have gained.

In the international ranking on the safety of women in the world,  our country holds lowest ranking in safety of women. India is one of the most dangerous country in the world as far as safety of women is concerned. According to Georgetown Institute Women Peace and Security Index 2023 placed India in 128 among 177 countries. The report indicates that the crime rate against women in India went upwards from 64.5 per lakh in 2021 to 66.4 in 2022. As a whole India remains one of the most dangerous countries in Asia. As per the report of NCRB, 4,45,256 crimes were registered across the country against women in 2022, which has a 4% growth from the previous year. 51 FIRs were registered every hour against various crimes against women in India in 2022. These can be bifurcated as below. Cruelty of husbands - 31.4%, Kidnapping and Abduction - 19.2%, Assualt with intention to outrage the modesty - 18.7% and Rape - 7.1%. The women of India especially the educated and well placed ones must come out to the open to get these prevented immediately. They may approach the government, the parliament and the judiciary. They may also use the print and visual media extensively to reach the people. Take an oath that our country will be made the safest for women in the world in a given period of time.

According to PPPs International Comparison Program 2019, as per  the UN Millennium Development Goals program 80 million people out of 1.2 billion Indians, about 6.7% lived below the poverty line of $1.25 and 84% of Indians lived in less than $6.85 per day. According to the second edition of the Multidimensional Poverty Index released by the Neeti Aayog,  approx. 14.9% of Indian population is considered to be in a state of multidimensional poverty. When our successive governments boast about our economic growth do we ever think about the financial conditions of a good number of people around us. While we assess the per capita income of the people based the GDP, the real per capita income remains something much lower when we take out the GDP of the top ten thousand rich ones from the GDP of 1.47 billion. Census report of 2011 indicates that there are  4,13,671 beggars in India, little less than half of them are women. Now begging has become a profession under different mafia groups. Let us understand the truth that India has the natural resources and the strongest manpower to make our country rich to the international level. If we have to attain that level we have to do two things. One is that we must strictly eradicate corruption from this country. Huge amount of corrupt money have been pumped out of this country. All concerned know that where this money has come from, which way it has gone out and where it is now as it çannot be remained untraceable. The only hurdle is our people are not bothered to bring it back. They are happily eating politics under political intoxication.

Little girls to old women cannot leave their houses safely. No Indian is bothered about. Large numbers of people are murdered here. Most Indians seems to be taking this as too simple a thing. Good number of educated youth roaming around unemployed practicing petty crimes. Though plenty of resources available to deploy them no one does anything anywhere.

Let us remember the truth that if the people of India have the will we can bring up our Motherland to the international level. We have to do two things to attain this. One is, to end corruption at every level. Let there be death penalty any earnings through corruptive means. The other is to find out suitable alternative for the existing types of democratic government. Find out the succesful governments in other countries. Then try to implement it here after sealing all openings for corruption.
