MOST EXPENSIVE GIFT IN THE WORLD

Duleep Singh, the last Maharaja of the Sikh Empire, presented the  186 carat Koh-i-noor diamond to Queen Victoria in 1849. Queen's consort prince Albert cut the diamond to 105.6 carat 3 years later, may be for their personal reasons. Today it is set in the crown of Queen's mother and is the highlights of the British Crown Jewels. In fact it's value is still inestimable. However, to help to assess the value of it one may find the value of 45.42 carat Hope Diamond, which is understood be worth above $250 million (Indian Rupees 1929 crores)
