'NO CORRUPTION' IN ELECTION MANIFESTO

Largest democratic election process in human history is being taken place during these days in India. Once in five years this 'Himalayan Task' repeat. This year it is performed by about 970 million Indian voters. This number is larger than the US, EU and Russian population put together. While many advanced countries of digital technology have not adopted EVMs for democratic franchise we Indians have fast made friendship with this new system.

Most of the parties who have fielded their candidates for this election have circulated the election manifesto amongst the people. While some intelligent people take these as something to befool the people, the illiterates and the ignorants dream that they are going to become mega rich people.  When these manifestos are filled with imaginary promises, none of them say about the most important things. Many people are below poverty line but no one seems to have said that they will be brought above this wretched line. Many youngsters are unemployed and no one say that unemployment rate would be brought to zero. India is one of the most unsafe countries for women in the world. Manifestos are mostly silent on this matter. Plenty of beggars are in our country, but no party promise that they will stop begging in India.

Above all, the highly resourceful and most populated country of ours could not be counted as one of the richest countries of the world just because of the widespread corruption prevailing in our country. Large amount of unaccounted money have secretly pumped out to many foreign banks. Corruption is found almost in every sector of the country in different densities. No serious efforts are being made to eradicate this most dangerous practice from our country. Why none of our election manifesto promise the people that anyone involved in any amount of corruption shall be sent to jail for life, such one will be dismissed from the job, those people will not be allowed to contest for any election. With effective laws we can eradicate corruption from our country. If that is done poverty can be eliminated. No one shall remain unemployed. Everyone can have house and good food in time. Our women will be safe in our country. But none touch this subject! In our country, places of worship also have become corrupt!
