ELECTION PROMISE AND PAST PERFORMANCE

Political parties come to the people before the election with plenty of promises. The long experienced Indians have heard such promises time and again. They know that these are never going to be fulfilled. The reason for this is something like this; the people are very hungry and as usual they want some chapati and onion slices to appease their hunger. But the experienced politicians offer them five star meals within an year. And surprisingly after five years these people continue to remain hungry.

Since it is continued for many years, the people are experienced enough to assess the worth and compatibility of these promises. For instance during these election speeches we all here many promises and programs for uplifting the women of India. On the other hand what we are seeing around  is really unimaginable. According to Frontline magazine 4.45 lakhs crime against women were reported in India in 2022 as per NCRB report. Uttar Pradesh registered maximum number of FIRs in the country, 65,743 crimes against women. According to Statista the following number of rape cases were reported from India in the year shown against.
2018 - 33,356
2019 - 32,032
2020 - 28,046
2021 - 31,677
2022 - 31,516

What is shown above is what is happened when the politicians get the power to rule the country. Yet when opportunity comes they again uttar the same promise. While these ones repeat these promises about big fortune, what is happening is unimaginable cruelty by fellow human beings. If these politicians again coming up with more and more promises instead of rescueing them when these women died one after the other. Still the political games continued all over the country. This is only one example shown above. There are umpteen such things happening in our country but these politicians do not find a total solution for one. But there is no limit for fresh promises.
