CUT OFF ECONOMIC RELATIONS WITH CHINA

For the past couple of years India's trade deficit with China is over 50 billion USD per year. We must now seriously think whether we should continue to have trade with China. Imports of all Chinese goods and services should be stopped forth with. We must also start producing those goods which are dumped in the world over by China. Since most of such goods are of low quality, it is easy for us to replace China in the world market, if we can maintain a high quality and a low price. The greedy mindset of the Chinese government has already brought a bad image for them in almost all countries. Further to these the Covid19 game played by them have  created hatred of a good number of countries.

We must rise to the occasion and do what is needed. China can never be a trustworthy neighbour for us. They may stab at our back any time. We should extend all assistance to Taiwan, Vietnam and the people of Hong Kong. We must also bring Japan, South Korea, Brunei and Philippines to the forefront alongwith us. We may also think about a collective trade system including these countries with our SAARC members. Initially we may have common trade in some selected commodities. This platform may help to have a collective bargain to keep the price under check. This will, therefore, help the individual countries to get goods at a cheaper rate. This system can be used for export also.

We all should ensure that China is sidelined in the world market. However, we may hate the Chinese government but never hate the Chinese people.
