WHY CHINA IRRITATES INDIA

There is no reason to believe that China has any inborn or hereditary enmity with India. Does India harm China in the recent past in any manner? The answer would be negative. Why, then, China irritates India continuously? It seems that the Chinese themselves have created a cause for this; dispute the boarder line. They are successfully playing this game from 1962. So far they have encroached over thousands of sq km area of ours. Why we have allowed this is a matter of debate.

China seems to be toying with the idea of sitting on the head of the world for quite sometime. They know that it is tough to overtake US and to certain extent Russia too. They must be having there own assessment and planning for this. They must also be aware of that arms alone cannot bring this dream to be a reality; something more is needed. In order to achieve this, primarily they should muster the support of as many countries as possible. China knows well that they cannot do this. To become a super power both in terms of arms and economy India would be their ideal partner. China knows very well that they cannot bring India into their camp by any shortcut methods. Hence they exert pressure on us to bring into a negotiation table. This must be the reason behind all fowl play being made by them as well as through our neighbours.

In order to counter this effectively there is only one way and that is to arrange physical demarcation between the two countries. The commonly agreed boarder now is the Mc Mahon line. Unfortunately it is an imaginary line. We should make it a physical and visible line. China will not allow us to have such a line at our discretion. They will keep on making claims on our land. Hence we may refer this matter to UN and in the presence of UN representatives we must construct the Mc Mahon line into a strong concrete wall. We may have comfortable support from UN now in this.

If we can successfully execute this we can sort out the problems with China without firing a shot. In the future also there will not be any boarder dispute with China. We can continue with the economic relations with them. However, this should be initiated on top most priority.
