LESSON OF LOVE

Kerala is a top ranking state in literacy. Pci of the people too is fairly good. Health index is also appreciable. However while all these are improving, crime rate too is improving at a faster rate. Should we do something?

While the efforts being made to reform the criminals is sizable we may look to find means to eradicate crime from the society. The best place to sow the seeds is school. If we can sow the seed of love in our schools we can certainly get rid off crime from our society. We may include one or two lessons of love in every class from class I to XII with adequate follow up in schools and homes we may have a crime free society tomorrow. We must do it immediately preferably from the forthcoming session.

One should not ignore the truth that while all our religious teachings are meant to promote love, atleast some modern activists of each religion is significantly contribute to spread hatred among one another. Similarly, political parties and existing socioeconomic factors too have their own share to spread differences among people. We are bound, therefore, to save the coming generations from doing harm among one another.

May the coming generations live in a peaceful society!
