CREMATORIUM IN CATHOLIC CHURCH


At last Catholic Church has decided to make a gas based crematorium in Thrissur, Kerala. This is a revolutionary decision. Even though the terms and conditions applicable for the Church members to use the new facility is not announced. However it can be expected that cremation in principle is approved by the Church. This is most likely to be accepted widely. In turn this will find an end to the scarcity of space in the existing cemeteries. This may also give relief to those who make allegations against the Church for doing real estate business in cemeteries of the Churches.
