CAN INDIA BECOME A RICH COUNTRY, ALONGWITH THE PEOPLE?

The answer is straight and simple. 'Yes, we can.' The Supreme One has bestowed us with adequate natural resources and enough people to exploit those. Contrary to all these we have taken a vow that we will never become rich, but will keep on begging till our last breath. In order to  maintain our vow we have made severe bondage with hundreds of political ideologies. Though our country became independent for over seven decades, a good chunk of our population remain tied up here and there. For unknown reasons they don't make any efforts to come out of the self made bondage. Though many say that our country is the fourth richest country in the world  based on GDP, parallelly maintaining 24% - 26% below poverty line. As per international statistics by the IMF (2026) the pci of India stands at $2,700 - $3,000. As per World Population Review report of 2026, countries with the top pci are given below.
1. Luxembourg $145,410
2. Switzerland  $116,005
3. Ireland          $110,906
4. Singapore    $  97,632
5. Iceland.       $   94,821
India ranks 144th in nominal pci and 125th in PPP.  If we deduct the GDP of 10,000 richest people from the GDP of our country consisting of 1.4 billions people,  our national GDP and pci figure may shattered.

When we look at the states of India, Bihar is the one state consistently ranking lowest in  pci. Bihar is the top state in India for natural resources. Bihar posses the top quantity of Pyrite in India. About 94 to 95% of total deposit India can be found in Amjhor Sone Valley of Rohtas district in Bihar. It has wide variety of utilities like sulphur, sulphuric acid, chemicals, iron, decorative golden jewellery and many other things. Lime stone, silica sand and mica also largely found in this eastern state.  The state also holds 57% of India's gold reserves in their Jamui district. As per 2011 census and most recent estimates, Bihar ranks 3rd among Indian states in population with 120 million people behind U.P. and Maharashtra. As per the Bihar Economic Survey 2025-2026 (covering the fiscal year 2024-25) the pci of this state is Rs 76,490 at current prices. With this pci Bihar continues to be the lowest ranking state in India for pci. As per the PLFS data of 2023-24 Bihar which consistently stood at the lowest rank has come up to the second lowest with 74.3% above Andhra Pradesh with 72.6%.  Considering all these circumstances we may try to find an answer to eradicate unemployment and povery from the state. Also try to find out corruption, politics and lack ot education etc have contributed at what density for the present stature of the state.

Under the above parameters we evaluate Bihar among other states for the poverty of the state, whereas others must be evaluating India among advanced countries for our current stature. Now the options are two for us. Either coordinate with each other, work hard and become rich or eat politics and live below poverty line.
