STRANGE ANIMALS



We may find some  strange animals rarely seen in different parts of the world.

Coatimundi
Found in Central and South America.
Jabiru Storks
Native of Central and South America
Axoloti
Only a few numbers of this 18 inch animal is left in the world. These are on the verge of extinction.
Pangolin
This is the only mammal with scales. Pangolins are found in Central and West Africa, India and South East Asia.
Tasmanian Devil
Tasmanian Devil is the largest Carnivorous Marsupial in the world.
Echidna 
Echidna are one of the two mammals that lay egg. These are found in Tasmania and in the mainland of Australia. Though they look like porcupine they are from a different category.
Southern Cassowary
This is the only flightless native bird of Australia. These are found in the Daintree National Park of Australia. They grow up to six feet tall and weigh up to 190 pounds.
Bilby
This too is an Australian native. They have life history over 20 million years in the world. Unfortunately 80 per cent of its population have been lost in the past 200 years.
