FAMOUS TEMPLES OF KERALA


In our 'God's own country' we can find some holy abodes of the Most Holy One. We shall visit these temples through our hearts.

Guruvayoor Temple
This temple is dedicated to Maha Vishnu. It is called 'Bhuloka Vaikunta'(God's abode on earth). This temple was established in the 14th century. However, the idol is believed to be 5,000 years old. This is one of the most famous temples of Kerala. We may find the temple through various angles.


Attukal Bhagavathy Temple
Attukal Pongala is the well known festival of this temple. The main deity of the temple is Kannaki (Bhadrakali)
