STRANGE LIFE FORMS FROM THE SEA
There are about 2.5 lakhs forms of fishes and other creatures in the sea. In today's world we know more about outer space than many species of life in our own earth, under water. However, there are some oceanographers studying about these unseen life forms deep under the sea. Whatever have been given by them are being shared with you here.
Peacock Mantis Shrimp.
These shrimps are found in the Indian and tropical western Pacific Oceans.
Pink See-through Fantasia
Pink See-thtough Fantasia is a sea cucumber, found 1.5 miles deep in the Celebes sea in the Western Pacific Ocean, east of Borneo.
Frilled Shark
It looks like a prehistoric creature, because it's roots can be traced back to beasts lived here 80 million years ago.
Christmas Tree Worm
Scientists found this strange creature at the Great Barrier Reef's Lizard Island and named it aptly, Christmas Tree Worm.
The Squidworm
Squidworm was found by the researchers in 2007 at 1.8 miles underwater. They use the appendages protruding from the head to collect the debris falling from above the water level.
Box Crab
Like so many other creatures in the sea Box Crab is a master of disguise. They are always found on the seabed with the eyes protruding to find food as well as enemies.

Giant Isopod
This big sea creature was found in 2010 by a remotely controlled underwater vehicle. They prefer to live in chilly water deep down the sea. They grow upto 2.5 feet.
Flamingo Tongue Snail
It has a wonderful shell tempt us to add to our collection. It's not so. When threatened, it can retract it's mantle flap, exposing it's true shell.
Blob fish (Aka Fathead)
This weird looking creature is seen as the world's ugliest animal. This is found below 4000 feet down where the pressure is 120 times higher than that of the surface level.
Sea Pen
There are 300 species of sea Pen named for their quill-like appearance. With stimulation they glow with green light.
