Tushar Jain
Tushar Jain is one who had forced to sell bags in Mumbai streets after his father lost everything. He alongwith his father transformed their small bag company into a large bag selling one. Tushar made his firm as High Spirit Commercial Ventures in 2012. They have now become the fourth largest maker and seller of bags and other luggages. "We have emerged as the largest brand in the Indian backpack segment by selling seven million bags last year," says Tushar. The ₹250 crore revenue company with head office in Mumbai has 10 regional offices covering every district in India.
Bhavesh Bhatia
Bhavesh Bhatia had serious vision problems at the younger days and total vision was lost at the age of 23. He was working as a hotel manager. Then he set up a candle business. He was purchasing wax worth 25 rupees every day and making candles. He named his firm Sunrise Candles. Today Sunrise Candles uses 25 tonnes of wax a day to manufacture 9,000 designs of plain, scented and aromatherapy candles. Their clients include Relience, Ranbaxy, Big Bazaar etc. Bhavesh is also a sports person of international calibre. He is known to have participated in the 2016 Paralympics held in Brazil. He is also the winner of National Award for the Empowerment for Persons with Disabilities from the President of India in 2014.
Sid Naidu
Sid Naidu from Bangalore lost his father in 2007 when he was 11 years old. He started distributing news papers before going to school and was earning ₹250/- per month. After completing class 10, he stated working as an office boy with a monthly salary of ₹3,000/-. He always had the dream of entering into the fashion world. In 2017 he started a fashion industry with the name Sid Productions a venture which dabbles in fashion shoots, model grooming, art direction, print ads, TV commercials and more. "Myntra is my biggest client, but also work with Future Group's fashion brands such as Scullers, Jealous 21, Indigo Nation etc. I also work with Lifestyle and Max." Says Sid. Just in one year Sid Naidu's business recorded a turnover of around ₹1.3 crore and now targeting a turn over of ₹3 crore.
