YOUNGEST GRADUATES

     Balamurali Ambati - Guinness Book of World Records holder as the youngest doctor in the world at the age of 17 years and 294 days.


Modern education is widely diversified. What was one mechanical engineering yesteryears has been divided into over six branches. Whole engineering have now bifurcated over 40 branches. This large bifurcation can be found in medicine, arts, commerce etc too. They call it specialisation. With this large open field of education people continue to study till late age and add countless number degrees and certificates to their kitty. We now try to find those who acquired this at very young age.

Michael Kearney an American obtained college degree in 1994 at the age of 10 years and 4 months. He bagged the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest one to do the trick.

A 9 year old Belgium boy with an IQ of 145 is on track to become the world's youngest University graduate. Laurent Simons is expected to complete the bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at Eindhoven's University of Technology shortly.

Tanishq Abraham an Indian-American is one of the youngest engineering graduates in the world. He performed this feat in 2018 at the age of 15 by earning a degree in biomedical engineering.

Eugenie de Silva aged 15  who started reading for Ph.D at Leicester has become the youngest person to graduate from Harvard University.

Karl Witte (1800-1883) was the youngest person ever to receive Ph.D.  At the age of 9, Karl Witte could speak different languages like German, Italian, French, Greek and Latin. At the age of 13, he got Ph.D at the University of Giessen, Germany. Karl Witte is Guinness Book of World Records holder as the youngest Ph.D holder in the world.

Balamurali Ambati, an Indian-American graduated from New York University at the age of 13. He continued his study at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York.  He became the world's youngest doctor at the age of 17 and found his place in the Guinness Book of World Records. At the age of 24 he bacame the youngest practicing doctor. At the age of 11 Balamurali co-authored a research publication on the issue of AIDS.
