We all must have heard about people became very rich from very poor background. What is needed for poor one to become rich. The simple answer would be hard work. I don't think any poor can make himself rich by hard work. A rikshaw puller, if work hard he can eat a few more rotis but cannot become rich. Then, someone may say it must be luck. Not at all! There is nothing like luck that make one rich. Luck is nothing but the right effort at the right time at the right place. There may be some  who have become rich by criminal activities. They are not rich but sheer criminals with no peace of mind. Then it could be said success. What is success? Success is an accomplishment of a goal. Success cannot be found overnight. It is a final point one reaches after a long pursuit; may be at the end days of life. Is there nothing then that make a poor rich? Yes, there is one thing, only one thing. That is opportunity! Oppertunity do not knock at our door quiet frequently. Oppertunity come to us once in a while only. When it comes avail it immediately! We may look at some such people who could avail the opportunity came to them.

Oprah Winfrey
Winfrey is the one who have found success that brought her from poor childhood to today's worth of an estimated $3.1 billion, according to Forbes. During an interview she said she didn't have running water and electricity in her younger days. She focused on school and participated in beauty pageants and then worked at a radio station. This helped her to enter the media world. She then got an opportunity in television as host for the Baltimore talk show, "People are talking." Later came "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 1986. In a 2001 taping of "The Oprah Winfrey Show," Winfrey shared some tips on making the shift to a wealth mindset.

"The whole idea, I think, of having wealth is not letting wealth use you but you use it," she said. "Being a person who has come from an out house, and very poor circumstances, I can assure you that the more money you get, it really doesn't change you - unless you are the kind of person who is defined by money."
