CAN COMMUNISM SURVIVE IN INDIA?

The Chief Minister of Kerala is now traveling through Japan and South Korea along with a team of ministers and officials to explore avenues to tap resources for the development of the state. While the tour is appreciated for many reasons, it comes to the mind that the CM being an eminent Communist, could have visited North Korea too. This would have helped to have a direct view of the development a communist country achieved in quite a long span of time.

In an earlier occasion too the CM preferred to visit US for health related matters. For years, as a communist ideologist and stalwart, the honorable CM used all negative terms about  US for it is a capitalist nation. In such instances, at least in principle, a communist country could have opted. Unfortunately there is no communist country in the world that have attained optimum development to render the required service to their own people. At last, China could achieve the growth it wanted  only after deviating from communism. China could earn fast industrial growth after drifting away from communist principles.  China is now the second largest country after US in the number of billionaires. Still they keep the red flag to retain the old memories.

The other communist countries in the world are Cuba, Vietnam, Laos and South Korea. Communist party could do nothing in India too except ruling a couple of states for some time. It is high time that the communist leaders should take a positive approach to their own party to reshape it to the needs of the people and to have vision to rule our great nation one day without the help of any other political parties. The way it stands now neither people can expect anything from communist party nor the party can expect anything from the people. No meaning in using muscle power and maintaining strict enmity with God.
