INDIAN CRICKET, A STEEP FALL

When we look at the history of Indian cricket of 93 years, it can be seen as a fairly balanced performance. During this period we have played 594 tests with 183 won and 186 lost and 224 drawn. While comparing this with the recent performance we can find 5 defeats in 7 matches. In the recent period we have tried 9 different captains. Yet we have reached nowhere.

The IPL has been playing for 18 years since 2008. While analysing the recent performance we cannot say that the IPL has contributed anything worth for the Indian cricket. It may also be worth to point out that political penetrations in cricket arena too could not subscribe anything to cricket.  It is suggested therefore, to form a five members commission to fully evaluate the contemporary cricket and suggest ways and means to rejuvenate the various formats of Indian cricket. Suggested names of the commission:

S/S Sunil Gavaskar, Gundappa Viswanath, Kapil Dev, Bishen Singh Bedi.and M.S.Dhoni.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

(Bethlehem, Palestine - Where the silver star is found, is the exact place Jesus Christ was born) The   records suggest that the Christmas was first celebrated on 25 December 336 CE by the Catholic Church in Rome. However there are much to say that Christmas was celebrated even before that. Now it is the USA is the country where Christmas is most widely celebrated in the world. Other most celebrated countries are Finland, Ireland, Norway and Japan. HOW IS THE REAL KERALA PEOPLE?

This  is not being written with the help of any approved statistics but from quite extensive experience. I have widely travelled in India and mingled with people from different regions. The people of Kerala are gifted with a super status in literacy. I don't think it is a great achievement. If all the Indian states have the literacy standard of LKG, Kerala is at UKG. That much is the difference. Kerala is nowhere near the advanced countries of the world There is no society in the world who prevent their own economic development, but Keralites are the one. During the past decades hundreds of industrialists came here with many proposals to start industries here but the people turned them away. A large group of South Korean industrialists came here with large novel proposal of household industries.
