INDIA AUSTRALIA JOINT APPEAL TO TALIBAN TO KEEP AWAY FROM TERRORISM i

Indo-Australian ministerial level ongoing meeting in New Delhi have agreed for extended cooperation in the defence sector. They have jointly appealed to the world not to use Afghan soil for nurturing terrorism.  Afghan should also ensure safety and security for women and children in their land. The joint meeting also asked China to deter from activities in Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean.

While the two countries have agreed cooperation in the defence sector, have expressed concern about the likelihood of other countries using Afghan soil to prop up terrorism. China was the first country to recognise the new Taliban government in Afghanistan. China has their own preference behind this earlier recognition. Pakistan is another country eagerly looking forward to use the terrorist groups of Taliban against India. The name Kashmir surfaced in some loose discussion here and there. Pakistan should be deterred from using terrorist groups from Afghan against India. All peace loving countries in the world should closely watch all the development in Afghanistan that pose threats to the world. Another important matter needs the attention of all peace loving countries is that the Al Qaeda which remained silent for some time is most likely to be surfaced with added strength from Taliban region.
