GST FOR PETROL - STATES OPPOSE

State governments were so far accusing the central government for high prices of petrol and diesel. Now, when the central have started doing something in bringing down the prices of petroleum products, states have started opposing the central move. This is nothing but deceiving the people. The Finance Minister of Kerala has reported to have said that if GST rate is applied on petrol and diesel, it will create scarcity of fund for the state. It means, to have adequate flow of fund to the state, the central should keep on increasing the price of petrol. What type of an attitude? What type of a democracy we are following?

We Indians are now openly admitting that we want to eat, talk and sleep but we will not work. We have unending store of natural resources. We have the largest number of qualified and energetic youth. But we will not allow them to work. Both central and state governments should know the fact that when they ask the people to fill the treasury, you must show them ways to fill their pockets too.

When we have innumerable ways to deploy people to have a fair earning without investing much of a money, we must opt for it than depending on squeezing the people with taxes and duties. Under no reasons we should delay in bringing petroleum products under GST as this can give little ease to the entire population of the country.
