KILLINGS EVERYWHERE!

Crime records of India shows that UP is on top with 56,011 cases followed by Maharashtra with 31,979 cases and West Bengal with 30,002 cases in 2019. In terms of crime per 1 lakh population, Delhi tops the list followed by Kerala. According to National Crime Records Bureau Mumbai is the most unsafe city in India for senior citizens. The data shows that violent crimes in Mumbai rose from 5,431 in 2017 to 6,169 in 2018. When it comes to political murder West Bengal is on top with 54 murders in 2018, whereas it was 98 in 2017,  followed by 9 in Bihar and 7 in Maharashtra. While going back to political murders in 2016, UP is on top with 29 followed by Bihar with 26 and Kerala with 15. During the same period the total number of murders took place in UP was 4889,
followed by Bihar with 2581 and Maharashtra with 2299. Himachal Pradesh is the least with 101.  Yet, murder is certain and happen in all states of India.

Kerala, one of India's most developed states, has witnessed a series of brutal political murders in recent years, writes BBC Hindi's Divya Arya. It can be found that over 100 people were killed and many injured in political violence during the past decade. If we Indians continue to boast about our cultural heritage and age old civilization and the 'Ahimsa' (non-violence) principles of Mahatma Gandhi we should certainly keep ourselves away from killings. All states and central government too should maintain a strict watch on the cruelty on the fellow human beings. School syllabus can be used for this. Law enforcement machinery have to be well lubricated for the prevention of crime.
