COVID 19 - WHAT WE DO NEXT

Timely action taken by the government of India and some state governments could do far contain the spread of Covid 19 in our country.  The government have now decided not to extend the Lock Down beyond 14th of April. PM has sought openion from all state Chief Ministers in this regard. Looking at the present world scenario, we may discuss the matter at length with all concerned and may take appropriate decision. Even during the Lock Down, crowding of people could be found at different parts of the country. Hence setting loose the control may create havoc and no amount of regulations later may bring the situation normal.

It is better, therefore, to continue the rigid control to a suitable period. The latest reports, both from within the country and abroad, shows that in some cases this disease does not show the known symptoms. If possible it is better, therefore,  to test the entire population to confirm the disease before lifting all regulatory measures. Also quarantine may be made mandatory for both international and interstate travellers. Assembly of people and other standard measures should be continued.

Let us remember that many world countries are watching how we overcome this disastrous situation.
