NEW INDUSTRIAL CONCEPT

The state of Kerala is not making any result oriented efforts in bringing up more and more industries in this state. The prime concern in this matter is lack of adequate land. Since we cannot bring more land into the state we must learn to manage within the available land.

Some selected major industries can be organised within a limited area. Manufacturing of most components and partial assembly can be managed out side the main factory. Many such operations can be shifted into the houses of the employees. It should be made compulsory that every employee related to the production units should have one or two separate rooms of a specified area in their houses exclusively for the use of the industry. One or two small machines can be installed there. The employee can do the assigned work there. The completed units properly assembled can be sent to the next place or the main factory. If well planned and organised we can set up a good number of industries within our available resources. The remuneration of such employees can be paid based on the work they complete in a given period of time.

Let us begin a new industrial culture in our state as taught by the Covid 19.
