NUMEROLOGY AND SOME FACTS



Numerology is a belief about the mystical relationship between a number and  people  or establishment and one or more coinciding events. It is also the study of the numerical value of letters, words, names etc. In ordinary terms numerology is a study of numbers in our lives. Numerologists believe that we can uncover much about the world, the people concerned about us, the events that take place around us etc. Numerology believes that this universe is a system comprising of basic elements and these elements are numbers and study of the numbers can reveal many things for us.

The origin of numerology can be traced back to Egypt, Babylon, China, Japan, Rome and Greece. There are historical evidence about the existence of numerology in these places thousands of years ago. The modern day numerology is credited to the Greek philosopher Pythagoras. However, there is no theoretical support behind this. Dr Julian Stenton is the real person who coined the term numerology. Everyone has his life path number. That number is the single digit number arrived from the total of  our date of birth. We can find that this number has relation to many events in our lives. Then there is the expression number. It is calculated by converting the full birth name into numbers using the Pythagorean chart. Similarly there are Soul Urge Number, Personality Number and Birthday number. All these numbers used for the numerological study of a person.

It may also to be kept in mind that numerology cannot be used for future reading. The most popular version of numerology today is the modern variant, there is also Chaldean, Indian and other types too.
Numerologists, however, believe that a proper numerology name can remove ill effects of a bad horoscope of anyone.

Numerology is not considered as a science but used as a technique to find the characteristics of individuals. Numerologists suggest changes in names to get over continuous misfortune of people and their business establishments.
