MY GOD AND YOUR GOD
My God is certainly different from your God. It is not our religious faith that determines the shape, strength and qualities of our God but it is our knowledge, wisdom, maturity and age that contribute the making of our God. While we all, or most of us, believe that man is created by God, it can be said with equal stress that God is created by man. It is the fundamental belief that God is beyond any shape, size or colour but we cannot imagine a God of this nature. Hence we create a God within our brain with a shape, mostly that of man. While some make the shape the fairest, others make it horrible looking. Size and colour varies according to individual imagination. These imagination, however, made to look like truth in course of time. It is like God appearing to man in the form of man, to lion in the form of lion, to crow in the form of crow and to fish in the form of fish etc.
Despite the advancement of science to these days level, man does not know all about his own body. No man, therefore, dare to talk much about the human body. In case of any confusion everyone rush to specialised doctors. However, on the other hand, almost every human on earth talk instantly and extensively about God. There are religious leaders who deliver long lectures about God. They know all about God. Some may even tell the 'date of birth of God'. Each religious leader has his own God within him. It may be varied continuesly. Surprisingly, no one likes to say, 'I do not know much about God' (rather anything about God). Knowing all about God is knowing all about the universe in microscopic detail. No man has ever born in this world who can contain God in his brain. Yet, such people have no reluctance to talk about God exhaustively. How much we have seen, heard and understood about this whole universe is the exact extent of our knowledge of God.
If we ask ten priests from the same denomination about a punishment to be awarded by God to a particular sin, in all probability, we may listen ten different judgements. There is a glaring reason behind this. The knowledge of jurisprudence of God is different in each person. While one is soft hearted the other may be hard core. The judgement, therefore, is pronounced under different doctrines.
While the Supreme Being is considered as most loving, most generous and wholly compassionate, there are thousands and thousands fall dead all over the world in His name is something beyond our thinking. The killer is certainly not God.
The Big Bang Theory is widely relied for the beginning of the universe. According to this theory the universe is unfolded to this gigantic size from a great explosion of a tiny particle. The shape of this tiny particle must be the most appropriate shape of God. Those who can conceive this tiny particle in their hearts embodied with unblemished love, that will be true God!
