WHAT IS OUR OWN IN THIS WHOLE WORLD

King Philip IV (1621 - 1665) of Spain was known as the Planet King (El Rey Planeta). This name came because his kingdom never had sun set. A German is believed to have said that a Prussian King Frederick the Great in 1756 gifted the moon to his ancestors. Though there are stories about kings who had imaginarily extended their power across the solar system, we may  also find that as on today, thousands of people belonging to many countries hold novelty deeds to show having purchased land in Moon, Mars and other planets from private companies. Many rich Indians too are possessing documents of ownership of land in Moon and Mars. We may say those are imaginary possessions. If that is so our possessions in this earth too are imaginary possessions. Before man comes to the earth, different regions on the earth were under the control of powerful and not so powerful animals. After the arrival of man on the earth he created large region in the forest and open green land as his own. And the.process is being continued for thousands of years. During the long course of time these land were owned by wild men, many refined men,  Holy ones, kings etc. And finally we too are retaining few square feet of land in towns and cities.

Even the large house built by us, cars, costly furniture, many expensive equipments, gold, silver and so many things procured or got made by us cannot be said as ours. During the ensuing time we shall be constrained to leave all these and go away. We cannot claim that anything is ours. Even our own physical body cannot be said as ours. Though this body is our identity, personality and most loved, can be valuable and prestigious possession it will be separated from us one day. A few hours after separation even our most beloved ones shall hesitate to go near it because it would be stinking and large numbers of maggots moving through the body.

We must have heard people telling us that large blocks of coconut trees, the vast paddy fields and the huge rubber estate belong to them. Un fortunately they do not know that even a grain of sand from this earth does not belong to any human being. It is all imaginary possessions. Even we cannot say where we have come from, where we have to go back or what was our assignment in this world. We have no answer about our own identity.

The body we are carrying is said to be our identity. However It is not our choice. Where we have landed or when was that arrival are not our options. We should be male or female is not our choice. The size, colour or beauty of our body are not chosen by us. Our parents, family or caste are not pre-planned by us. The quality and function of external and internal organs of our body are neither planned nor ensured by owners. The power of the body and the resistance are also not determined by we, the so called 0owners.  Then comes the most important part of our body, the brain; the one that carries out memories  and intelligence. The capacity and analytical efficiency of our brain determine our personality, capacity, capability and potency are not planned, designed and constructed our brain.  Now try to answer my dear fellow beings whether our body or any part of it own by us. And finally, the driving force, inner spirit, life or soul believed to be within us can give the ownership assurance
