MOBILE PHONE - MOST TRUSTWORTHY FRIEND!
The mobile phone is our most reliable friend. It is our master who teaches us.lt is a doctor, a legal advisor and a religious priest. What we searched in many schools, libraries, news paper offices and through post offices are now available at our fingertips. How fortunate we are now to have such a wonderful one with us all the time.
Unfortunately many parents are struggling with their children for misusing the mobile phone. We cannot accuse the young ones for this. Our existing educational system is fully responsible for this. What is good that has to be accepted and bad that has to be rejected, is not at all taught the way it is to be taught. This should be included as part of teaching in the schools with the help of well prepared syllabus. What we should do on top most priority is to restructure the syllabus according to the need of the day. On the contrary we should not make mobile phone the culprit. It is like the knife. In every kitchen knife is an essential thing. Without knife we cannot have proper food. However, the same knife can be used to kill a human too. Does it mean that the knife should be banned for ever?
A senior engineer named Martin Cooper of Motorola of USA in 1973 gifted the mobile phone to the world. The first batch of the phone had s weight of 2.5 lbs and talk time limited to 25 mts. According to Statistics and Trends of 2025 about 70.7% (5.81 billions) people all over the world own mobile phone. An Indian company, Ringing Bells, reported to have announced that their Freedom 251 phone costs Rs 251/-.or under $4/- (2016). This must be the lowest priced mobile phone in the world. It is widely considered that the most expensive phone in the world is possessed by Smt Nita Ambani wife of Sri Mukesh Ambani. It is reportedly made of pink dimond and gold and it worth $48.5 million.
