DRAUPADI MURMU THE PRESIDENT OF INDIA


Draupadi Murmu is the shining star as the 15th President of India. She was born on 20th June 1958 (aged 67 years) Draupadi Murmu was in Santali tribal family in a remote village called Uparbeda in the Mayurbhanj district in Odisha. She worked as a junior assistant in the irrigation and power department of Odisha government from 1979 to 1983.
She served two terms às the Member of the Legislative Assembly (2000 - 2009)
During this period she held ministerial position with independent charge. She also served as the Governor of Jharkhand from 2015 to 2021, being the longest serving Governor for that state. Draupadi Murmu became the 15th President of India on 25th July 2022. 

Her father Biranchi Narayan Tuda was a farmer. Her father and grandfather were traditional heads of the Gram Panchayat. During a period of 6 years between 2009 - 2015 Draupadi Murmu lost her husband, two sons, mother and a brother. She married to Shyam Charan Murmu, a banker, in 1980, with whom she had two sons and a daughter, Itishree Murmu, a banking professional. Her son-in-law Ganesh Chandra Hembram is an international rugby player. Draupadi Murmu was graduated in BA from Rama Devi Women's University, Bhubaneswar. Murmu is a surname indicating Santals found in India, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.

HOW IS THE REAL KERALA PEOPLE?

This  is not being written with the help of any approved statistics but from quite extensive experience. I have widely travelled in India and mingled with people from different regions. The people of Kerala are gifted with a super status in literacy. I don't think it is a great achievement. If all the Indian states have the literacy standard of LKG, Kerala is at UKG. That much is the difference. Kerala is nowhere near the advanced countries of the world There is no society in the world who prevent their own economic development, but Keralites are the one. During the past decades hundreds of industrialists came here with many proposals to start industries here but the people turned them away. A large group of South Korean industrialists came here with large novel proposal of household industries.
