HOW WE INDIANS CONVERT OUR LIVES TO BE SUCCESSFUL
(Sarojini Naidu The Nightingale of India)
According to the social reckoning prevailing in our country success in life rated by the wealth possessed or the power held. No one bothers about the way the wealth is accumulated or the power is acquired, but how much you hold that matter. Even if a known thief has large house and costly cars there would be many people to respect him at public.
There are primarily two reasons for this situation in our society. People only consider what you have, not how you have earned those. These subjects are not taught to our children because no one bothers to include those in the school syllabus. Even the simple definition for success is nothing but defeating the opponent. Over and and above these we have such amount of religions to reform the human beings from committing wrongs in the society. There are such amount of divine subjects to teach our today's and tomorrow's generations like love one another, forgive everyone, help the poor and downtrodden etc. Unfortunately our religious leaders do not have time to refine the respective members of each religion.
Let us find out where we have fallen down. The estimated current population of our country is:
146.34 Cr (Total)
75.56 Cr (Male)
70.78 Cr (Female)
It is a matter of pity that the female population of our country which is about half of the total population is one of the most unsafe women population in the world. India ranked 128 out of 177 countries in the 2023 Women Peace and Security Index (WPS) for Women's Safety. The Index evaluates Women's Security, Justice and inclusion in a country. Even seven decades after independence it looks as a pathetic statement. The most unfortunate aspect is our women have turned themselves to silently admit this horrible situation.
Until we define success and target it within a given period of time we cannot taste success in our life time.
