LET US SERVE KERALA FOOD ACROSS THE WORLD

There are over 40,000 Chinese restaurants in USA whereas the McDonald's outlets are about 36,000 only. We can find Chinese restaurants across the world. These tood are so diverse. The fried rice, noodles and various chicken preparations are very tasty and people belonging to different food habits too like these tastes.

As per available data from India, among Indians who frequently eat outside, 30.7% eat Chinese food every month, 23.8% twice in a month and 25.9% four times in a month. We have good number of Chinese restaurants in all major cities and in many towns in almost all states.

Though it has not gained popularity as Chinese cuisine, Kerala food is loved by people from other states of India. Some tourists visiting Kerala from different parts of the world are seen to be familiar with our food like Idly-Sambar, Avial, Appam-stew, Put, Biriyani, Payasam etc. Why not we think about presenting our food varieties more and more all over the world.

Our youth are running around for getting  jobs abroad. Why not some of us together plan for a chain of Kerala restaurants in one of the above countries. There are plenty of resources for fund for investment locally and from abroad, sometimes from the respective country itself. Hence investment may not be an impediment. If we all together have a will there are many ways for us!

Similarly people who are already in the hotel business also can think about a large chain of Kerala hotels in one or more countries. We have wide varieties of recipes for different preparations of mutton, chicken, fish and many types of vegetables. We can establish our food varieties in all over the world in a short span of time. Let us work together for a new dawn for our youth!
