REMISSION OF SINS IN CHRISTIANITY

"And now God found that earth was full of men's iniquities, and that the whole frame of their thought was set continually on evil; and he repented of having made men on the earth at all." (Genesis 6:5-6) God repented for men's iniquities and for having made men on the earth. God the Father being the Supreme Judge took the responsibility of the iniquities of man on Himself and repented for those. And that repentance of God ended at Golgotha in the form of sacrifice of Jesus Christ. That is the only remission of sins for human as shown by Jesus Christ.

The forgiveness of sins is well explained in Matthew 26:28. "Drink, all of you, of this, for this is my blood, of the new testament, shed for many, to the remission of sins." Jesus Christ says here with absolute clarity. Jesus says: 'In contrast to the old testament, wherein you were offering your blood or blood of other life beings, for the forgiveness of your sins, which had not accepted by God the Father as all those were impure, here I am offering my own most pure blood for the forgiveness of your sins. Those who recognise this and believe that this blood is shed for the forgiveness of the sins of each one of you, ever born on earth, are forgiven.' This is the only forgiveness of sins assured for those people who believe in Jesus Christ. However Jesus authorised the disciples to forgive the sins of others vide John 20:23. "Receive the Holy Spirit;  when you forgive men's sins, they are forgiven, when you hold them bound, they are held bound " This is the alternative method of forgiveness of sins offered by Jesus Christ Himself. He is authorising His disciples to forgive the sins of those who choose from people who do not know Jesus Christ. However, there is a condition stipulated for this; "Receive the Holy Spirit." That is, anyone who hold Jesus Christ in them can forgive the sins of anyone. This verse of the gospel is misinterpreted by most Christian priesthood and insisted the followers for confession. No confession however pious it may be, shall grant forgiveness. The conventional mode of confession is that the priest hear the sins and pass on to the Supreme One for granting forgiveness of those sins. As far as God the Father is concerned He has already forgiven the sin of all humanity through the Supreme Sacrifice of His incarnation Jesus Christ. Anyone who believe this sacrifice for the forgiveness of his sins shall have instant forgiveness any time anywhere.

If a third method of forgiveness of sins is there that was happened only once. That is snatching the forgiveness. "If I can even touch his cloak, she said to herself, I shall be healed. And immediately the source of the bleeding dried up ..... (Mark 5:28-29) This is about the woman who had blood issue for many years. She just touched the cloak of Christ. She was instantly forgiven. She did not have obtained the consent of Christ for this, at least visibly. That was ardent faith. No other form of forgiveness can be had from Jesus Christ. Forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ alone is the way to get remission for our sins. Those who are preferring confession or any other means of forgiveness, do not, in fact, recognise the Supreme Sacrifice of the Son of Man. It is also proved by Jesus Christ with His life that anyone absorb the sins (negative energy) of others into one's body shall have to suffer for it. None of the disciples of Christ had a natural. There death was something similar to that of their Master. However, those receive confession of others in good numbers find no impact on their bodies. They just coolly walk away.
