CLEANEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD

Cleanliness of a country is determined by.clean water, better air quality, better handling of waste, and a well arranged sanitation. High pollution level cause high rate of non-communicable diseases, accounting for 72% of all deaths, 16% of which are caused by toxic pollution.

According to the Environment Performance Index the following countries are found top in the world. With the EPI score of 82.5, Denmark is the cleanest country in the world followed by Luxemburg, Switzerland, UK, France, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Germany.

Most polluted cities in the world according to the air quality data collected are;
1. Hotan (China)
2 to 14. Indian cities Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr,  Bisrakh Jalalpur, 
Bhiwadi, Noida, Greater Noida, Kanpur, Lucknow, Delhi, Faridabad, Meerut, Jind and Hisar.

According to current EPI ratings US stands 24, China 120 and India 168.
