DO WE INDIANS WANT OUR COUNTRY TO BE ONE AMONG THE RICHEST?

In one word we can give an answer to this, and that is 'No'. In international level no any reliable survey has been conducted to find the knowledge or opinion of the people about their respective governments. However 'Pew' had conducted a brief survey in 2017. The highlights of it is given below. When we are discussing about this matter pertaining to nour own country we must assess the fact whether our people have adequate knowledge to understand the subject.

Abstract of Survey report of PEW in 2017 about the democratic government in their own respective countries (percentage of dissatisfied people are shown)
------------------------------------------------
Canada 39%,   USA 62%
UK 51%,  France 66%
Italy 67%,  India 23%
Australia 39%,  South Korea 69%
Japan 76%,  Israel 62%

The prime findings of the brief survey conducted by the Press Information Bureau in 2024 shows that while going through various age group of children in India have joined school for education. When we find the percentage of total children in schools is around 80%. Though it is much above the earlier years, when we are looking for the all-round development of our country we must inevitably set a target of education to 100%. The basic educational standard also to be raised to the level of gradation; bachelor degree. Without realising the problems we face we cannot find any solution for it. India has all the resources to reach the front raw of economic development among the  advanced countries of the world. The prime hurdles for it is a) corruption and b) lack of education.

Without proper education we cannot understand and effectively maintain the system of the governing. India has a parliamentary system of government that is sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic of federal structure that has unitary features. How many of our people understand this tells us the expected development of the people. Such huge amount of corruption is taking place in our country that heavily destroy us. Large sum of unaccounted money is said to be pumped out of country. If retained these here, our unemployment rate would have become zero. Therefore, unless our people open their eyes and grasp things around India cannot improve the standard of living of the people. There is no meaning in finding faults with the governments and the political parties and their leaders.

An old story seems to be quite relevant here. A beggar stretched his hand with a broken earthen bowl to a rich man once.  The rich one felt  sympathy upon him and asked. "If I give you large amount of gold, what will you do?". "I will make a big golden bowl and beg." Said the beggar. I think many a fellow humans of ours are like this.
